Alians Tours Reviews

After I wrote Alians we arranged our trip from Kashan through Abyaneh to Esfahan. We came to Kashan a day earlier but he found time and he offered us a... read more possibility to show us some places in night Kashan, even we did not arrange it. He is well educated and he knows secret places almost everywhere. He is also very good driver ;). You do not need to be afraid that you would not understand Alians, he speaks very good English.
I was very suprised by the price of our trip, I think we got much more for the price we paid. As we could experience, Alians is also very flexible. We started our trip in Kashan and ended in Esfahan, where he took us by his car. He knows many accomodation options in almost every town. He tests these accomodations by himself so they are proved and tested :).
Thank you Alians, I hope we will have the possibility see you again in Iran! 🙂

An eye opening trip
My husband and me spent two weeks in Iran in August! Ali is a tour operator as well as a driver guide. He can help... read more to arrange everything for the visitors coming to Iran when you tell him what to expect or any specific demands!!
Ali, who is recommended by another couple, suggested and planned our itinerary with us months ago when we decided to go to Iran!
A lot of advice, discussions and reminder given before the tailored made itinerary was done. His six year experience and passion on his job already have shown us his professionalism. We did not need to worry where and when to go and where and what to eat!!
Ali is like our security guard, a caretaker as well as an interpreter. He drove us to every destination and brought us where to buy cold drinks or snacks! In the afternoon we always could taste the best food for lunch in that city we stopped. Although the variety of food is limited, it’s sure that it’s freshly made and cooked. Ali helped us to order the food, the drinks and talk with the local people about what we need.
After lunch, we could go back for a nap in the hotel until evening as it was burning hot in some afternoons in some places. Ali is so thoughtful. Whenever we wanted to buy some souvenirs, he would be there to bargain for a better deal with the people there as we could not speak their language. Remember my husband wanted to find a best location for taking the sunset, he tried all the possible locations to search for the best position. He can understand what each visitor likes and wants!! He is trying the best to fulfil what the visitor’s needs and expectation.
Ali’s base is in Kashan, we were so honoured to be invited to have dinner at his his mother in law’s house on our arrival! The mother in law prepared a great traditional and delicious meal for us. She is so kind and elegant. Ali really wanted us to feel and to see what a typical Iranian house and a family meal like!! We met his wife and his wife’s family members, her parents and sister. They were all very friendly and nice!! They were so willing to share and talk about their life and custom- we had a great evening!
We went to many places in two weeks: Kashan, Abyaneth village, Isfahan, Persepolis, Shiraz, Maymand, Kalut desert, Kerman, Yazd, Meybod, Naein, Varzaneh, Qom and Tehran. We learnt more deeply about the Iranian history and culture.
Apart from staying in 4 star modern hotels, spending a night in an Iranian style house in Kashan also brought us back to an older age and let us feel relaxed!! Iranians built their houses downwards in the ground instead of high rising as to feel cooler living in the desert weather.
We could see different mosques from oldest age to the latest years, from Iranian to Asian and European styles. We could see the men’s struggles and achievements in their olden days but without losing their survival skills and wisdom.
We walked through different gardens, baths, some palaces and bazaars. Every mosque, every garden, every bath, every village, every bazaar has its story and features and you need to see, feel and experience by yourself.
More than that, we spent one night in Maymand. It is a cave village thousands years old. People lived in the cave away from the heat and attack! No insects or snakes would like to crawl into the cave as they made a layer on the surface of the cave walls by burning the sheep fat. It was a clever way to drive the insects away. At night, you may feel cold indeed. Can you image that you are staying in a cave house which is thousands years old. It is not as terrible as you thought! But don’t expect the washroom is inside the cave as it is separated. It doesn’t matter when you think it is a great chance to have such experience once in your life time!! To me, I had to give my high appreciation and most likes to those who lived in the cave houses thousands years ago and even until now!!
Iranians are so friendly and polite!! They are very happy to see all foreigners! They feel it’s their honour to invite you to take photos with them and they greet with you even you don’t know them. They tried their best to talk with you in English or Chinese if they could say some words. We felt very welcomed warmly and we are like superstars! An excellent experience.
In this trip, a lot of surprises stormed our mind and opened our eyes about Iran-where it is not
as many foreigners thought about Iran. Iran is a Muslim country, but the people are very warm, peaceful and approachable. It is a country where they have their unique culture, history and religion and we should learn to respect them and give our appreciation! Thanks a ton to our driver guide, Ali for giving us an impressive time in Iran. I addition, he is good at singing no matter classical or pop songs, his singing never disappoints you as well, full of emotion and expression. Thanks again!
